Give me the pleasure of showing you my home; the areas of Provence and Languedoc-Roussillon around Avignon. There is so much to see and do:
Wine-tasting: the reds around Chateauneuf du Pape, Gigondas and Vacqueyras, the whites of Chateauneuf du Pape and the rosés around Tavel and Lirac.- Olive groves and olive oil around St. Remy de Provence and Les Baux.
- Villages of the Luberon: Roussillon and its ochre quarries, Gordes and its lavender fields.
- Provençal market towns
- Roman ruins in Nimes, Orange and Arles
- World-renowned summer festivals: bull fights in Arles, theatre in Avignon, concerts and dance in Nimes and Vaison la Romaine.
I will pick you up at the Marseille or Montpelier airport, or at the Avignon TGV train station. I will drive you around to all the sites. You can make your own itinerary or I will personalize one for you. You can visit many sites in one day or take your time and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of Provence. With me as your guide you will have a relaxing and carefree vacation.
